On Tap: See the DC Open Women’s Singles and Doubles Draws

The North American hard court swing begins at the DC Open in Washington, DC, with American Jessica Pegula as the top seed in the women’s singles draw. 

The draw was released on Saturday, with seven American women taking their place in the 28-player draw. 

In addition to Pegula, who will face either Magdalena Frech or Ann Li after a first-round bye, there is No.6-seeded Madison Keys (faces Liudmila Samsonova in round one), No.8-seeded Emma Navarro (faces Sofia Kenin round one), Ashlyn Krueger (faces Katie Boulter in round one) and 46-year-old Venus Williams (faces Anastasia Potapova in round one).

Alexandra Eala vs Zheng Qinwen

Eala, originally slated to play doubles with Venus Williams, has pulled out of that draw. Venus paired with Diana Shnaider.
