Majchrzak Stuns Medvedev to Reach ‘s-Hertogenbosch Final

Kamil Majchrzak continues to ride the hot hand on the grass in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. One day after taking out top-seeded Felix Auger-Aliassime for his first career Top-5 win, the No.76-ranked Pole toppled third-seeded Daniil Medvedev, 7-6(4), 6-1 to set a final with 2024 champion Alex de Minaur.

Majchrzak, 30, becomes the sixth man from Poland to ever reach an ATP final.

He improves to 3-4 lifetime against the Top 10 with his win.

Majchrzak saved both break points he faced, won all nine of his service games and broke Medvedev three times from six opportunities as he ran away with the second set to claim victory in an hour and a half.

De Minaur took out Adrian Mannarino 6-4, 6-0 to improve to 20-2 on Dutch soil since the start of 2024. The Aussie stretched his winning streak at ‘s-Hertogenbosch to seven. This year’s Rotterdam champion is bidding to become the first player to win two titles on Dutch soil in the same season since 1997.
