Karolina Muchova has become the eighth and final singles qualifier for the 2026 WTA Finals, capping a stellar season that has seen the crafty Czech claim two titles and reach the Wimbledon final.

The 30-year-old joins Elena Rybakina, Aryna Sabalenka, Mirra Andreeva, Linda Noskova, Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula and Elina Svitolina in the elite eight-player field, which will compete at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden from November 8-15.
Muchova has enjoyed one of the finest seasons of her career in 2026, compiling a 40-11 record while showcasing the all-court variety, athleticism and creativity that have made her one of the WTA Tour’s most watchable talents.
The Czech’s two-title campaign was highlighted by a run to her second career Grand Slam singles final at Wimbledon, where she added another chapter to her impressive record on the sport’s biggest stages.
Muchova previously qualified for the WTA Finals in 2023, but was forced to withdraw due to injury. This year’s appearance will therefore mark her long-awaited debut at the prestigious season-ending championships.
Muchova’s qualification also gives the Czech Republic two representatives in the singles field, with 21-year-old Linda Noskova joining her compatriot among the world’s elite. USA, with Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula, also have two representatives.
