British No.1 and former UTS London Grand Final winner Jack Draper is planning a return to competition in front of his home crowd at the UTS London Grand Final at the Copper Box Arena, 5-7th December. UTS announced the news in an email.

Draper won the Grand Final in 2023, defeating Holger Rune in the final.

It’s great news for Draper, who announced that he was pulling the plug on his 2025 season two weeks ago. Tough news for the top Brit, who performed brilliantly in 2025, winning his maiden Masters title at Indian Wells and pushing into the ATP’s Top 5, reaching a career-high ranking of No.4 in June.

Draper went 30-9 overall on the season, and won six out of ten matches against Top 20 talent. He was ailing this summer, and eventually pulled out of the US Open ahead of his second-round match.

“I had some bone stress, bone bruising, in my humerus on my left side,” Draper told media ahead of his appearance at the US Open, in August. “It is one of those where, yeah, if you keep playing with it, it could become very, very serious. So, I had to take some time out.”

Draper later went on to say that he started to feel effects of the injury during the clay season.

The 23-year-old World No.7 has been recovering from injury but he is on track to return to matchplay in December and has been granted a wildcard into the prestigious eight-man field for the UTS season finale.
