Corentin Moutet Fined $40K for F-Bombs (x 7)
Frenchman Corentin Moutet is no stranger to on-court outbursts.
He’s also used to paying the piper, and that will likely be the case again this week, as the Frenchman was hit with a $40,000 fine for dishing out not one, not two, but SEVEN F-bombs during a post-match interview after his win at Queen’s Club over compatriot Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard.

According to intrepid tennis journalist Tumaini Carayol, Moutet will appeal the fine.
Moutet was in good spirits after his win, and used the profanity to describe what it was like trying to deal with Mpetshi Perricard’s serve.
When he was (twice) warned by Drummond to keep it clean, he responded by blurting out the F-bomb three times in succession. Moutet’s actions were quickly taken to the court of public opinion on social media where opinions were expressed, both for and against.

Moutet earned €37,780 for reaching the round of 16 in Queen’s, which is just over $43,000.
