Kokkinakis posted an image of himself in a hospital bed, his right arm in a sling and his left hand offering a thumbs up, after the surgery.

"Been struggling for a little while with this," Kokkinakis posted. "Probably my toughest challenge to date. I’ve been trying to find the answers to an ongoing Pec injury that I haven’t been able to fix.
"Let’s see how this goes."
Aussie Davis Cup hero Kokkinakis withdrew from the Adelaide quarterfinals last month due to injury.
Battling Britain's Jack Draper in a five-set loss at the Australian Open, Kokkinakis aggravated the pectoral injury and was forced out of the AO doubles with buddy Nick Kyrgios.
Last fall, a resurgent Kokkinakis won the Sydney Challenger and posted Davis Cup victories over Arthur Fils and Ben Shelton, but the recurring pectoral injury struck again last month.
