Novak Djokovic has received a medical exemption and will play the 2022 Australian Open. The World No.1 and nine-time champion announced the news on his Instagram on Tuesday.

“I’ve spent fantastic quality time with my loved ones over the break and today I’m heading Down Under with an exemption permission,” Djokovic wrote on the social media site.
