Sloane Stephens reached her first final since 2018 at Guadalajara.

Sloane Stephens reached her tenth WTA final when Anna Kalinskaya of Russia retired after two sets with a back issue, Stephens winning 3-6, 7-5 RET.
The former World No.3, currently ranked 57, is into her first final since 2018 when she played the title match at the WTA Finals. She will face Marie Bouzkova of the Czech Republic, who defeated China’s Wang Qiang 6-3, 6-3 to reach her third WTA Final.
Bouzkova is bidding for her maiden WTA title, while Stephens, the 2017 US Open champion, bids for her seventh.
Bouzkova won the pair’s only previous meeting in 2019 in Toronto.
