Flushing Meadows, NY—While Iga Swiatek remains atop the WTA rankings, beginning her 24th week as reigning No.1, there were significant changes in the WTA’s Top 10 on the Monday after the Flushing fortnight.

Ons Jabeur, on the strength of her runner-up performance in Queens, rises back to No.2, and Jessica Pegula climbs to a career-high ranking of No.5.
Additionally, 18-year-old Coco Gauff rises to No.8 in the world. At 18 years and 183 days old, Gauff will be the youngest woman to debut in the Top 10 since 17-year-old Nicole Vaidisova in 2006. She is also the youngest American to achieve the feat since Serena Williams did so aged 17 in 1999.
Caroline Garcia of France, who reached the semifinals in New York, returns to the Top-10 for the first time since October of 2018.
Gauff and Garcia are No.4 and No.5 in the Race to the WTA Finals.
