Jimmy Fallon asked tennis stars to drop shot absurdity into their interviews.

The results are straight-up spectacular.

More: Nadal Passes Schwartzman Test

From Andy Murray dead-panning "I used to take cat naps but now I take kitten naps, which are half as long but twice as cute" to Maria Sharapova's revelation "Let me tell you something: You're never gonna find three tennis balls in a Pringles can" to Stefanos Tsitsipas' blunt "Slap your dad, call him Brad" the stars make the bizarre believable in this segment for The Tonight Show.

And keep it together...for the most part.

Karolina Pliskova can't help cracking up while saying "Game, set, match do the cabbage patch" and Naomi Osaka struggles to suppress a smile remarking "when the score is deuce, the juice gets loose."

All in all, Fallon's tennis twist is a lot more entertaining than the standard "I gotta go out and play my game", "I'm just taking it one match at a time" and "It is what is is" lines so many players often recite.

New York native Fallon is a big tennis fan who stole the show at the US Open a few years back dancing with buddy Justin Timberlake to Beyonce drawing laughs from Roger Federer in the process.
