Italy’s Matteo Berrettini is closing in on a trip to London. The Italian pulls in at a career-high World No.13 after a trip to the quarters in St. Petersburg, and the 45 ranking points that he earned has vaulted him past Kei Nishikori and into eighth place in the Race to London standings.

Berrettini leads Nishikori by five points and there is plenty of tennis left to play in 2019.

In other ATP rankings news, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga jumps 16 spots to No.29 in the world after winning the Moselle Open title on Sunday. Aljaz Bedene, who fell to Tsonga in the final at Metz, rises 12 spots to No.64.
