Prior to its massive Davis Cup tie with Great Britain, Australia Davis Cup Captain Wally Masur has announced that Nick Kyrgios will be left off the team for the tie with Bernard Tomic coming back into the fold.

"After some good healthy discussion with Nick and his team, we have agreed on a plan to help him develop all aspects of his game and ensure a long and successful future in the sport," Masur said, according to Darren Walton of the Sydney Morning Herald. "Next week's tie has come a bit too soon for him and is not in that plan. The Aussies came back from 0-2 down vs. Kazakhstan in Darwin in the quarterfinals, marking the first time that an Australian team had achieved the feat since 1939.

The Aussie team will feature Lleyton Hewitt, Sam Groth, Tomic and 19-year-old Thanasi Kokkinakis.
Australia leads the all-time head-to-head with Great Britain, including victories in their last three matches.
