“It’s a great feeling to be touted as a player to watch,” said Dimitrov. “But winning is most important and my BLX racket is helping me do that.”
19 year old Dimitrov has been in great form through the summer, winning 4 ITF Pro Circuit Futures tournaments and the ATP Tour Geneva challenger on clay courts and then capturing his win in Bangkok on hard courts.
“Grigor has the great ability to play on every surface and has a lot variety in his game,” said Massimo Calvelli, Wilson Global Tour Director. “Sometimes those capabilities can take a bit longer to come together, so it’s nice to see Grigor already having success. We are excited to see what the future holds.”
Dimitrov will play another ATP Tour Challenger in Bangkok this week.
