A year that began with Stefanos Tsitsipas becoming the first Greek male to ever reach a Grand Slam semifinal will end with Tsitsipas making more history for his country.
Tsitsipas became the first Greek to ever qualify for the ATP Finals when Daniil Medvedev defeated Fabio Fognini in Shanghai on Friday.
The 21-year-old Greek is the sixth player to qualify for London. He joins Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Dominic Thiem and Medvedev. Two spots still remain.
