Andy Murray will make his Grand Slam singles return at the Australian Open in January.
It will be Murray's first major singles appearance since the 2019 Australian Open when Roberto Bautista Agut defeated a gimpy Murray 6-4, 6-4, 6-7 (5), 6-7 (4), 6-2 in the opening round.

The five-time Australian Open finalist underwent hip resurfacing surgery shortly after that match.
The 32-year-old Scot reached the Beijing quarterfinals last week and bowed to Fabio Fognini at the Rolex Shanghai Masters today.
"Returning to the main draw with a protected ranking of No.2 and restored physical powers, Murray is just one of many fascinating storylines that will transfix the world when the first Grand Slam tournament of the season begins," Australian Open officials announced on the tournament's website.
The 32-year-old Murray has improved his ranking to No. 289 since he launched his singles return in Cincinnati in August.
