Rafael Nadal says the level of tennis the world No. 1 has produced sweeping three of the four Grand Slam titles this year "is difficult to equal."

"Novak is having an amazing season. I texted him after the US Open but I want to say today in a public way, it's amazing the way that he's playing during the whole season," Nadal said today. "The mental strength and the level of tennis is difficult to equal."

The rivals appeared at a Bangkok press conference today ahead of their sold-out "Back to Thailand: Nadal vs. Djokovic" exhibition set for tomorrow at the 5,000-seat Hua Mark Stadium. The pair are scheduled to tour the Grand Palace followed by a meeting with Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha before their exhibition.

The exo will help prepare them for the Asian swing of the ATP Tour. Nadal said there are no thoughts of revenge against the man who ended his Roland Garros reign.

"No, even if I win tomorrow it will not be revenge," Nadal said. "It's an exhibition match. The purpose is to try to play a good match where we have some fun and create good fun for the people."
