Having missed the meat of the Asian swing due to a bacterial infection, Lucie Safarova will make her return next week at the Generali Ladies Linz.
If the season ended today, Safarova would come in seventh in the Road to Singapore standings, but with many players still alive in Beijing, the Czech may find herself on the outside looking in when play begins next week.
Safarova has also entered Moscow, which takes place the week before Singapore. The current World No. 6 is 31-17 in 2015 with a Roland Garros final to her name.
No matter what happens in singles, Safarova has already qualified for the doubles in Singapore with her partner Bethanie Mattek-Sands.
