Pushing through the final weeks of the season in her quest to qualify for the WTA Finals hasn't prevented Agnieszka Radwanska from seeing the big picture.
The world No. 8 told the media in Beijing she favors shortening the season to nine months—and suggests the majority of players agree with her.

"Yes, why not? I think, you know, everybody wants that," Radwanska said when asked if she favors a shorter season. "But it's just the way it is."
The former Wimbledon finalist said she favors condensing the WTA calendar to nine months.
"I think nine months season will be good," Radwanska said. "I think a lot of people agree with me."
Injuries and fatigue have decimated the China Open draw.
World No. 1 Serena Williams has pulled the plug on her season, second-ranked Simona Halep retired from the Beijing first round while battling an Achilles injury, third-ranked Maria Sharapova retired from her Wuhan opener with a left arm injury and fourth-ranked Petra Kvitova looked lethargic in her opening-round Beijing loss to Sara Errani.
