Spain's Garbine Muguruza celebrated her 22nd birthday in style by becoming the third player to officially qualify for the WTA finals in Singapore on Thursday night in Beijing. Muguruza fell behind Mirjana Lucic-Baroni early but recovered to notch the 1-6, 2-6, 6-1 victory. There are currently 5 spots available and 12 players still in the hunt.
