Roger Federer isn’t the only player that’s bringing the Basel crowds to their feet at the Swiss Indoors Basel this week. Check out this MEGA wild point from Richard Gasquet and Dominic Thiem at a crucial juncture of the first set of Gasquet’s 7-6(1), 6-4 victory.

Theim got an A+ for bringing the pizazz to the point (and for some serious wheels on a few gets), but Gasquet put the final volley away to take the point.

The Frenchman, seeded fifth in Basel, advances to face Ivo Karlovic in the quarterfinals.

Also advancing on Thursday in Basel were 7th-seeded Marin Cilic (6-3 6-1 over Gabashvili), Jack Sock (7-6(5), 6-3 over 6th-seeded John Isner) and Donald Young (6-2, 7-6(6)) over 4th-seeded Kevin Anderson.
