Belinda Bencic has withdrawn from the China Open due to a hand injury.
Bencic, who rallied for a 6-7 (4), 6-4, 6-3 win over American Madison Brengle in her Beijing opener, pulled out before her scheduled match with veteran Mirjana Lucic-Baroni, WTA Insider reports.

The 13th-ranked Swiss, who was runner-up to Agnieszka Radwanska in Tokyo last month, retired from her second-round match versus Camila Giorgia in Wuhan last week.
