Roger Federer tells reporters in London that he was bothered by an arm problem in October and early November. Federer, who will face Novak Djokovic in London on Tuesday, says that the issue is behind him now.

“I feel really good, you know,” he said. “Carrying a slight arm problem through Basel and Paris, but nothing that was hindering me to play well. So that's gone. I hope it's not going to come back. If it does, I'll be fine. It's just part of the game to play hurt sometimes.”

Federer defeated Tomas Berdych in straight sets in his first match in London. The six-time World Tour Finals champion says he showed up early in London after spending some time with his family after an early loss at the Paris Masters.

“I'm not worried that it's going to come back,” said Federer. “So a fast match like this always helps.”

Federer says he is excited about taking a break starting next week, but adds that he’s still a man on a mission while in London.

“Even though I'm looking forward to my vacation, I can tell you that, I feel very happy to be here and very happy about my state of mind and body as well,” he said.
