The semifinals are officially set at this year’s Next Gen ATP Finals in Milan.
Jack Draper snagged the final berth on Friday with a dominant victory over No.2-seeded Lorenzo Musetti, 4-1, 4-0, 4-3. Draper, who went 2-1 in group play, will face Brandon Nakashima in the semifinals.
In-form Swiss Dominic Stricker, who along with Nakashima went undefeated in group play, will face Jiri Lehecka of the Czech Republic in the semis.
This is the fifth edition of the event that previous crowned Hyeon Chung (2017), Stefanos Tsitsipas (2018), Jannik Sinner (2019) and Carlos Alcaraz (2021) as champions.
All four previous champions have gone on to attain a top-20 ranking, three of the four have cracked the top-10, and two (Tsitsipas, career-high No.3 and Alcaraz, career-high No.1) have cracked the top five.
