Dominic Thiem is preparing to put his best foot forward in London.
The US Open champion announced he's recovered from the foot injury he suffered in his Vienna quarterfinal loss to Andrey Rublev that knocked him out of last week's Rolex Paris Masters.

Thiem said he's been training for next week's ATP Finals at London's O2 Arena.
"Nothing is quiet in fall--the last weeks have been busy," Thiem said in a "London is Calling!" post on his website. "After losing in the quarterfinal at my home tournament in Vienna I recovered from my foot injury. It took me two, three days to recover, then I started my preparation for the final in London at the O2-Arena."
It will be Thiem's fifth appearance at the prestigious season-ending event.
A year ago, Thiem knocked off Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev to reach the ATP Finals title match where he lost a tight 6-7, 6-2, 7-6 final to Stefanos Tsitsipas. Thiem summed up his 2019 London experience as "just a few points that decided heaven or hell."
"On Wednesday I am leaving for London with a mini-team," Thiem said. "The final goal of 2020, the memories of last year are nice!
"During the group phase I beat Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic, I beat Alexander Zverev in the semifinal. Then I had that 6-7 in the third set against Stefanos Tsitsipas. It were just a few points that decided heaven or hell."
