The current World No.4 has inked a long-term extension with Lacoste that will take him through 2026 with the French brand.


His style of play and his tenacity on the court allow him to shake up the tennis world hierarchy, as he demonstrated once again last week by winning the title in Paris,” Lacoste said in a statement. “In the essence of the brand’s founder, and seen more recently with Novak Djokovic, it is this elegance of play and spirit that Lacoste wishes to convey through the extension of this contract with Medvedev.”

Medvedev, who plays with Tecnifibre racquets and strings (a company owned by Lacoste), will make his second appearance that the Nitto ATP Finals next week. The owner of three Masters 1000 titles and eight overall ATP titles, the 24-year-old enters the tournament at his career-high ranking.
