Roger Federer has had some memorable losses to Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in recent years, but that won't keep him from playing the Frenchman in an exhibition to kick off 2014 for the Roger Federer Foundation.

The Foundation will hit its 10-year anniversary on Dec. 23, 2013. The match will be played at Rod Laver Arena in Australia on Jan. 8, 2014, where Federer will also celebrate an anniversary. In January 2004, Federer won the Australian Open for the first time, defeating Marat Safin in the final. It was his second career Grand Slam win. A decade later, and he's added 15 more and is the all-time leader among Open Era men in the category.

According to a message on Federer's website, the Foundation has helped more than 50,000 children in those first 10 years, and hopes to reach 1 million by 2018.

Federer holds a 9-4 advantage in ATP matches against Tsonga, but the Frenchman has notable wins in big tournaments, including in the 2013 French Open quarterfinals and the 2011 Wimbledon quarterfinals, in which Tsonga became the first man to rally from down two sets in a Grand Slam to beat Federer.
