Germany’s Laura Siegemund, who won the Stuttgart title and had amassed a 12-4 record on clay this season, will miss the French Open. The German suffered a scary fall and had to be taken off on a stretcher during her match at Nürnberg on Wednesday.

Fed Cup Captain Barbara Rittner later confirmed that Siegemund will be pulling out of Roland Garros.
