Juan Martin del Potro will play his second clay-court match of the season against No.10-seeded Grigor Dimitrov in the first round. The Argentine played a match at the Estoril Open just over a week ago, but had to withdraw from the event to attend his grandfather’s funeral.
Another good matchup pits Nick Kyrgios and Roberto Bautista Agut in the first round, but it is unclear if the Aussie will be fit to go. He pulled out of doubles in Madrid on Saturday with a hip injury.
Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic have once again been drawn into the same half. Nadal snapped a seven-match losing streak against Djokovic on Saturday to book his spot in the Madrid final.
