Watch: Serena On Snapchat Discuss Dog Food Dilemma
Serena Williams
proved once again why it’s worth following her on Snapchat.
The World No. 1 took to social media to give a lengthy video explanation of her recent tribulations after eating what she thought was dog food good enough for anyone to eat.

Serena Gets Rematch With Kuznetsova in Quarterfinals
While competing at this week’s combined tournament in Rome, Williams told her Snapchat followers about how her hotel offers a “dog menu” for guests and their favorite pooches. When Williams ordered the salmon and rice dish for her Yorkshire Terrier named Chip, she couldn’t help but notice how good the food looked.
Curious, Williams admitted she ate a bite of the food using the siliver spoon that came along with the dish.
“I ate a spoonful. Don’t judge me,” Williams says on camera.
The World No. 1 then says the food had an odd taste, “…a little bit like a house cleaner thing.” Williams later reveals that within hours she was forced to run to the bathroom multiple times.
Fortunately, Williams was able to recover in time to win her match the next day against
Christina McHale
76(7), 6-1.
The video ends with Williams saying about the food, “I don’t think it’s consumable for humans. They should have wrote that!”
