Second Serve

If Novak Djokovic was stressed out by horrible weather, interrupted play and the loss of a first set against Roberto Bautista Agut on Tuesday in Paris, he certainly didn’t show it. The Serb came out for the locker room during a delay, grabbed an umbrella from a spectator and took a stroll around Court Philippe Chatrier to assess the playing conditions, even busting into a little Gene Kelly “Singin’ in the Rain” impersonation.

Shortly thereafter Djokovic took the court, won the second set and went up a break in the third before play was called for the evening. It wasn’t a perfect day for the World No. 1, but Djokovic does appear to have the perfect mindset. Djokovic leads Bautista Agut, 3-6, 6-4, 4-1, and the pair will resume their round of 16 contest on Wednesday, immediately after Serena Williams and Elina Svitolina finish their match on Chatrier.
