Novak Djokovic’s new Peugot ad aired on YouTube today just in time for the first week of Roland Garros where the Serb’s quest to become the 8th man to complete the coveted career Grand Slam is taking place.

In the ad Djokovic walks on court wearing knickers and delicate 15th century ruff (guessing on the century, actually) and proceeds to take on the reigning champion (or so implied) of the court. Sound familiar to this week’s struggle?

Anyhow, Nole proceeds to take off his restrictive footwear and beats his adversary to a pulp, just as he normally does on the tour. Our favorite part? When he fakes the overhead and lays down the silky-smooth dropper and leaves his opponent face first on the court.

Bottom line? Djokovic wakes up from the dream in his new, snazzy Peugot, which is parked on a nice little promontory. He drives away, satisfied.

In real life, Djokovic’s real dream is still very much in the making. Stay tuned for a full report on that later!
