Four people were found dead on Wednesday in a possible murder-suicide at a Tampa, Fla., home currently owned by former ATP pro James Blake.
According to WTSP.com, the bodies were discovered inside a mansion engulfed by fire located at the Avila Golf and Country Club.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s office reported that it was intentional, as an accelerant and several fireworks were found throughout the home and two of the victims had “upper-body trauma.” The victims were described as two adults and two teenagers.
Property records show former tennis pro James Blake as being the owner. A spokesperson for the James Blake Foundation confirmed Blake was not at the house when the fire broke out. Blake has been renting the property for the past two years.
Blake, who at one time held the U.S. No. 1 ranking, retired from professional tennis at last year's US Open. Watch a video of the news report here.
