March 20th marked the 10th anniversary of the passing of tennis industry leader, Scott, founder and publisher of Tennis Week Magazine and a former world No. 11-ranked player and U.S. Davis Cup team member.
The tennis world is mourning the recent passing of the patriarch of TV tennis broadcasters and long-time Sarasota winter resident Collins, who was the touring tennis ambassador of the world’s former top-ranked tennis resort, The Colony Beach & Tennis Resort on Longboat Key.
Host Dave "The Koz" Kozlowski, a friend and colleague of both men, shares his interviews and memories of the Hall of Fame pair, who collaborated at Tennis Week.
Collins recalls a television producer telling him after a Forest Hills broadcast he had no future in television. "Kid, this is not for you," Collins was told.
The show also profiles at look at two major USTA Pro Circuit events: the 8th annual Wilde Lexus Women’s Open at the Oaks Club in Osprey with Tournament Director, Tom Whitten and the 9th annual Joey Gratton Sarasota Open at Lakewood Ranch with Tournament Director Tony Driscoll plus a visit to the Little MO Big MO at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens.
Inside Tennis With The Koz presented by BMW of Sarasota airs every Saturday, 2:30 PM on SNN TV on the Suncoast of Florida.
