Thanks to her 19th career title, Victoria Azarenka has reclaimed a spot in the WTA’s Top-10 for the week of Monday March, 21. The two-time major champion has not been inside the Top-10 since the summer of 2014.

“I said in Australia, it's going to be a process, and I still believe that I'm not there where I want to be,” Azarenka told WTA Insider Courtney Nguyen after taking the title over Serena Williams in straight sets on Sunday in the desert. “I'm getting there and I'm getting closer and I'm improving, but knowing that I could just be better gets me excited. That's what helps me wake up in the morning and go after it. There is nothing else I want to do in life right now but give myself the best chance I can to be able to chase my dreams.”

Azarenka rises from 15 to 8 in the rankings, and comes in at No. 3 in the Road to Singapore leaderboard.

Other notable risers in the rankings were 18-year-old Russian Daria Kasatkina, who comes in at a career-high No. 36 in the rankings after a trip to the quarterfinals at Indian Wells. American Nicole Gibbs jumps 21 spots to No. 74 after a round of 16 performance at Indian Wells, and Czech Denisa Allertova climbs nine spots to No. 55 after her upset of Angelique Kerber in the desert.

Agnieszka Radwanska climbs to No. 2 in the world, flip-flopping with Angelique Kerber, who drops to No. 3 after losing her first match at Indian Wells.

Maria Sharapova drops outside of the top-10 to No. 11, while Karolina Pliskova rises from 19 to 14.

On the men’s side the Top-10 remained the same.

18-year-old Alexander Zverev rose to a career-high No. 52 in the rankings.

Rafael Nadal climbed eleven spots in the Race to London standings, from 21 to 10, while Milos Raonic moved up three spots, from fifth to second.
