Jelena Ostapenko is armed with a new accomplice for grass-court season.
The 2017 Roland Garros champion has hired Glenn Schaap as her coach for Eastbourne and Wimbledon, which starts on July 2nd.

The pair will assess their trial partnership after Wimbledon, Ostapenko told the media in Eastbourne following her 6-3, 7-5, triumph over Kaia Kanepi in her 2018 grass-court debut.
"I did a couple of days [with Schaap] at home practicing and here, the tournaments, Wimbledon," Ostapenko said. "I mean, we're going to see after."
Schaap had coached Anett Kontaveit for the past two seasons before the Estonian signed on with Briton Nigel Sears for a three-month trial coaching run.
The 21-year-old Ostapenko ended her five-month partnership with former coach David Taylor following her French Open first-round loss to 67th-ranked Kateryna Kozlova.
Previously, Taylor served as Samantha Stosur's long-time coach.
"With David we just decided that we are probably going to stop because it didn't work that well for me and him," Ostapenko said. "I mean, we worked almost half year together and it was I think a good half year. I cannot say anything bad. He's a great person."
Taylor has been working with Madison Keys in preparation for Wimbledon.
Keys parted company with Hall of Famer Lindsay Davenport after Roland Garros.
