CoCo Vandeweghe has added former Wimbledon champion Pat Cash to her coaching team.
Seeking to assert her attacking game during grass-court season, Vandeweghe has hired the 52-year-old Aussie until at least the US Open in August.

The pair launched their partnership at this week's 's-Hertogenbosch where the fourth-seeded Vandeweghe lost to Carina Witthoeft, 6-7 (3), 6-3, 7-5, today. Veteran coach Craig Kardon had been working with Vandeweghe.
Cash, who has coached Mark Philippoussis and Greg Rusedski in the past, told the Herald Sun he believes the 2017 Australian Open semifinalist can win a Grand Slam title.
"I’m excited as I believe she has the potential to win a slam," Cash said told the Herald Sun's Leo Schlink. "She has the power to wipe players off the court. We will be aiming to use that skill throughout the grass court season and onwards."
