Roddick started training with a new coach, Larry Stefanki, a while back and made many great improvements. The most noticable improvement was the weight, allowing him to move more freely around the court. Coach Stefanki also helped Roddick with many other parts of his game by increasing his arsenal of weapons. With these adjustments in his game, Andy was able to win many more matches and make it further in many tournaments, including the 2009 Wimbledon. Roddick is one of the eight remaining men left in men's draw and is playing his best tennis yet. It is possible that Roddick might be able to go the finals this year, with the help of the new changes. Another change that Roddick has made is upgrading his racquet to the new GT versions: Babolat Pure Drive Roddick GT Plus. The racquet stays true to its line by providing the same feel and handle. There are some minor differences in gameplay though because the racquet seems to provide a bit more power without extra strain, which is a great thing. Also, the racquet seems to give more comfort on the arms, amking it a great choice for any advanced level player. Be sure to watch Andy's next match in Wimbledon against Hewitt because it will be an amazing match!
