During another day of off and on rain at Wimbledon, it wouldn’t have been surprising to her of a protest against the rain. Instead, during Grigor Dimitrov’s first-round match with Sho Shimabukuro of Japan, we saw a protest against oil.



Protesters wearing t-shirts emblazoned with the slogan "Just Stop Oil" jumped on the court during play, and scattered… wait for it… the pieces of a Wimbledon Centre Court jigsaw puzzle onto the court.

Following an incident on Court 18, two individuals have been arrested on suspicion of aggravated trespass and criminal damage and these individuals have now been removed from the Grounds.
