Wimbledon semifinalist Sam Querrey and Olympic gold medal champion Monica Puig lifted Las Vegas Rollers to a 20-18 triumph over the two-time defending champion Springfield Lasers in extended play.
Puig, playing for Kristie Ahn, served out the extended play win as Vegas improved to 3-2.
“We were all fired up to get this one done,” Querrey said. “It made it more special that we did it in close fashion there at the end.”
