Pouille would finish off his win over Del Potro a few games later. The 30th-seeded Frenchman is into the Wimbledon round of 16 for the first time with a 6-7(4) 7-6(6) 7-5 6-1 victory.

Pouille will face Bernard Tomic in the round of 16.
