The Croatian pair defeated Mike Bryan and Bob Bryan, 6-2, 2-6, 6-2, 6-4 to cut the USA's lead to 2-1 in the Davis Cup quarterfinals in Portland.

Cilic and Dodig converted six of 10 break points.

In the fourth set, the Croatians were dominant on serve, winning 22 of 25 points played on their serves.

John Isner, who beat Borna Coric to stake the Americans to a 2-1 lead on Friday, will face Cilic in tomorrow's opening reverse singles.

If Cilic prevails to extend the best-of-five match quarterfinal, Jack Sock will face Coric in the decisive fifth match.
