Sofia Kenin and her agency, Top 5 management, have parted ways. The American, who turned in her greatest professional season in 2020, has not yet commented on the split, but her agency did post the news on their website on December 31.



“Due to difficulties with the athlete’s environment, Top Five Management has decided not to extend its collaboration with Sofia Kenin,” the statement read. “After joining Top Five Management, the U.S. tennis rising star delivered an outstanding performance during season 2020 – notably winning the Australian Open and reaching the final at the French Open. Top Five Management wishes Sofia all the best for the future.”

Kenin, 22 and ranked No.4 in the world, won two titles and was named the WTA’s Player of the Year in 2020.
