Mouse House: AO Asks Quarantining Players Don't Feed the Mice

Kangaroos and koala bears are symbols of Australia for visitors.

Lately, hotel quarantine has become a mouse house for one player.

Tiley on Adelaide Bubble: Nature of the Business

Yulia Putintseva, one of 72 players confined to hard quarantine in her Melbourne hotel room, complained to hotel staff about a mouse in her room.

Putintseva reports she was transferred to a new room only to find a family of mice in the welcoming party.

Victoria state police minister Lisa Neville told the media staff has encouraged players to "minimize interaction" with the mice.

"As I understand, there may have been some feeding going on," Neville said. "We will keep doing pest control if we need to, but hopefully that pest control work that was done this week will have fixed the problem."
