Second Serve

A YouTube wanna-be star caused quite a commotion during Nick Kyrgios’ second-round win over Viktor Troicki on Wednesday in Melbourne. Thankfully, the offending person was removed from Hisense Arena, but not before he spent a good minute selfishly filming himself while making strange sex-like noises in the front row.

Reportedly the commotion was a pre-planned prank meant to go viral.

That part worked. And a lot of people seemed to think it was funny. The guy is reportedly big on Snapchat, but we haven’t checked into it. Just another strange day for Nick Kyrgios at the Australian Open.

The Aussie, in his typical cool deadpan, took it in stride.

“Good on him,” he said. “Little claim to fame. Let him have it.”
