The 22-time Grand Slam champion discussed her goals meeting with the media in Melbourne for the Grand Slam launch of Wilson's new Countervail technology.

"I've been number one for so long, so many times," Serena told the media in Melbourne. "I've done things that are amazing. Sometimes the ranking really means a lot.
"But also, I feel sometimes winning events, just being able to compete means just as much."
The second-ranked American faces a tough test in her Australian Open first-round match. Williams will play
