He forgot to pack underwear for a 1999 Roland Garros match and declined coach Brad Gilbert's offer to wear a pair of his underwear.

In this video for Unscriptd, his new media project, the Hall of Famer recounts how the oversight grew into a commando superstition that altered the later stages of his career.

"I actually played the first round with no underwear. I played so well, I proceeded not to wear underwear the rest of the tournament," Agassi says. "I won the tournament and then proceeded not to wear underwear the rest of my career.

"I'm actually not wearing underwear now."
