Some tennis players retire and don't know what to do with their lives - ultimately bouncing back and forth between comebacks, exhibitions and stints as coaches and announcers.
Not Lindsay Davenport. When she retired, she knew she wanted to be a mom.
Davenport and husband Jonathan Leach announced the birth of their fourth child last week, a daughter named Haven Michelle Leach.
The 37-year-old Davenport married Leach in 2003. She and Leach have three older children, six-year-old Jagger Jonathan, four-year-old Lauren Anrus and two-year-old Kaya Emory.
She later posted a photo of Jagger and husband Jonathan snuggling with the family's latest addition at the hospital.
Davenport won 55 career titles as a singles player including three Grand Slams and the 1996 Olympic gold medal as well as three doubles Grand Slams, and during her career was ranked No. 1 in both singles and doubles.
