The ethereal and the sublime. Whether he is gliding across the baseline to flick a backhand half-volley past an unsuspecting opponent while the audience groans in support, or tooling around on his piano with his stretch Uniqlo jeans on, Roger Federer knows how to dazzle.
Here the Swiss maestro shows off his piano chops—always took him for a fan of classical (maybe some Debussy or Ravel right?) so this video makes perfect sense. It’s part of Federer’s new #MyLifeMyJeans campaign with Uniqlo. And now we can see how the Japanese brand is planning to deal with the fact that Federer can’t play tennis forever. The 10-year-deal is likely to keep Federer in the mix even long after his ATP days are over. Sad as it seems for fans who prefer his tennis over his piano playing, it’s great news that we’ll likely see a lot of Roger Federer over the next decade.
