It’s been a really tough day and night at the Qatar Total Open in Doha. Rain has been steady, and it looks like only two first-round matches will be completed in the first two days.

But that doesn’t mean that there was no fun to be had on Tuesday. Watch as Latvia's Anastasija Sevastova gives new meaning to the saying “lose your head” when her racquet handle stays with her as the head goes flying after striking a backhand during her 7-5, 6-4 loss to Samantha Stosur on Monday.

Last year’s U.S. Open quarterfinalist reacted nonchalantly to the difficulties, but could not use her calm to solve the Stosur riddle.

Stosur’s win was the only first-round match completed on Monday; on Tuesday Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova defeated Jelena Jankovic, 6-1, 6-4, in what could end up being the only singles final of Day 2.

The tournament hopes to finish a few rain-interrupted matches before the night is over. Fingers crossed.

Update: The tournament just now cancelled all remaining play:
