It's been a breakthrough season for Caty McNally, who earned her first WTA wins reaching the Washington, D.C. semifinals and partnered buddy Coco Gauff to win her maiden WTA doubles title at the Citi Open.

Throwing out the first pitch for her beloved Cincinnati Reds.
The 17-year-old Cincinnati native rose to the challenging firing a strike.
McNally, who spent some time practicing with 39-year-old Venus Williams a few days ago, called her Reds appearance "the best moment of my life so far."
McNally's mound mastery comes a couple of weeks after Naomi Osaka painted the corner tossing the first pitch before a Los Angeles Dodgers game.
We've love to see US Open wild card Coco Gauff or New Jersey native Amanda Anisimova throw out the first pitch for the resurgent New York Mets, who have hosted Kim Clijsters, John McEnroe and Patrick McEnroe as pitchers prior to past US Opens.
